Annie's Orchid
Annie says, "I love this picture so much!"
Annie came over this evening and we had some fun in the studio. This is her first watercolor painting. I wish sometimes I had this fresh approach to my painting! Now that the day is done we are going downstairs for ice cream!
Annie, What a gorgeous painting!! The colors are spectacular - and your sketch of the flower so fantastic because it is slightly abstract. This would make a beautiful image on notecards or stationary! Shirley
Annie is tooooooo precious for words - what a cutie pie!! How much fun you two have! Lovely art work from Annie, a budding professional artist for sure. (not sure how I found this blog nor the one with the sangria recipe - where the heck was that?? please let me know ;-)
I am a 52 year old middle age woman (middle because I plan to live to be 100 years old!). I pursue a passionate life and savor every moment I am here. I have been given many gifts of family, love, vocation and talent. I love people, especially the young children with cancer whom I am privledged to care for as a pediatric oncology RN. I balance the difficult work I do with fun things like traveling to far away places, learning new languages ( I speak 4 now), knitting, quilting, reading, and being an outdoor girl: hiking, kayaking and camping. Just sketching and painting my way through the world before me. I hope you enjoy your visit here.
